About Stick the Twig

Stick the Twig was born from a lifelong love of miniatures and the healing power of creativity.

As a child, I found joy in making tiny gardens—little worlds where fairies & small people might live and stories could unfold. Through years of working in floristry, I discovered that creating isn’t just about beauty; it’s a mindful practice that calms the mind, grounds the spirit, and offers space to simply be.

Now, Stick the Twig is a sister to my floristry business, utilising my extensive range of tiny dried and faux flowers.

Paired with natural materials like twigs, moss, and shells, these humble pieces become magical miniature worlds—tiny portals that invite us to slow down, connect with nature, and let our imaginations wander. I often forage the fields where I live to gather twigs, grasses, seed pods and other interesting natural bits and pieces to add to the items you can use for your creating. It’s amazing what you can find if you just open your eyes and look.

Our workshops are more than just crafting sessions; they’re an opportunity to pause, create with intention, and find quiet joy in the process. There are no rules & no mistakes when creating your mini dwelling, you do not need to be ‘good’ at art because everyone can use their imagination and to actively create is just about opening your mind and trusting your own vision.

In the smallest things, we may find the greatest sense of peace. I hope you will join us in creating something tiny and marvellous.
